Greetings to you and all my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ, trust this report finds you well.
The month of July 2025 was a hectic one with some health challenges as we had rainfall almost everyday in my part of Nigeria causing cold and feverish condition to most of my family members.
On July 5, I teach a leadership class at Church of Christ, Ukanafun, some Preachers, Bible Teachers and leaders of the Sisters class were in attendance.
On July 6, I teach the Bible class and preach the sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong on the Theme ” Backsliding”.
On Sunday July 13, I teach the Bible Seminar at Church of Christ, Iton Ikono, Uyo on the topic ” Values and Culture ” while I delivered a sermon on “Unbelievers in the Church”. Many questions arose from my preaching and Bible answers was given.
On July 19, we support the Women Gospel Seminar at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Eyo on the topic ” The Role of Christian Women in the Church”, over 300 sisters drawn from 33 local congregations of the Lord’s Church was in attendance.
On Sunday July 20, I preached the sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong village, Ukanafun, an erring sister was restored.
On Sunday July 27, I preached the sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong village in Ukanafun on topic ” Fishers of Men” from Matthew 28:18-20. After worship, we had the Church meeting and discuss on the following:
* Plans to attend the 71 Annual Bible Lectureship of the Nigerian Christian Bible College NCBC, Abak between August Tuesday 12-15 Friday, 2025 were we hope to work with Chad Wagner and others.a
* We plan about our Bible Seminars in 2026 January – April Lord willing. A planning committee was set up to review our past activities and areas to work on to further the kingdom of Christ in our rural areas.
* My planned trip to Freetown, Sierra Leone was discussed and your generosity was shared with the church as you help me with travel funds,b prayers was offered to God blessings on you and for safe travels in October 2025.
*We plan for Indoor Bible lecture/Friends service at Ikot Odiong church on Sunday August.24 with plans to invite family, friends and our prospects to fellowship with us, so we can preach the Gospel to them.
On July 30, our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team went on Church planting mission at the village of Nkeidm, were there’s no church in the area, many we preached to showed interest, praying for successful mission.
