The month of October was very hectic and productive in our little efforts for Christ and His church in Nigeria and the continent of Africa.We praise God for His grace and we thank you for being a great part in our work for Christ in Nigeria and the continent of Africa, God bless you and your endeavors in Christ Jesus Christ. Amen.
October 4,
Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team meet for the 4th quarter evaluation and strategy meeting, reports from members on our routine Evangelism campaigns, Bible Seminars/ Evangelism in many church locations, Free Medical Outreach, Food for the Needy and our follow up mechanism really payoff.
Planning for 2026 include:
– Active participation in the Bible Seminars/ Evangelism.
-Taking the Gospel to an area where there’s no church with plan to plant one.
– Continue follow up on those we have preached to, to help them grow strong in their faith in Christ.
– Planting of new church (s) in 2026 Lord willing.
UKANAFUN WBSET PROGRESS SHARED :
* Two of our young preachers in the team got married during the year 2025.
* One of their wife gave birth to a new born baby.
* Three (3) of our team members announced their marriage plans in 2026.
CHALLENGES:
* Some of the Ukanafun WBS Evangelism team members need a Motorcycle to help them in their follow up and personal Evangelism in the rural areas.
* Some of the newly planted churches needs land and permanent small block house for a place of worship as meeting in public schools and private homes discourages many, some of the denominational church leaders who manages the school feel threatened by our New Testament teaching.
DEATH:
One of our teammates (Udak Umo) died and will be buried this November according to family sources, I led our evangelism team on a condolence visit to his wife and children and we hope to attend the funeral service as a team.
END OF YEAR 2025 GET-TOGETHER FELLOWSHIP:
Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism team will hold her end of year get-together fellowship where prayers and songs for praises is sung to God for His grace to serve in Christ kingdom. We will use the fellowship meeting to thank God for your generosity. God bless you for preaching Christ to many in our community through your generosity and prayers.
October 5,
I preached the sermon at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong and Two earring brethren confessed their wrong doing and asked for the prayers of the saints for forgiveness from God.
* One of our brothers (Abas Friday) who got married to one of our sisters came up for prayers of the saints on their marriage, they both shared Ring, it was a joyous mode.
* Thereafter, I preached at the indoor Bible lecture at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpa Idem village. The church report tremendous growth as a result of the annual Bible Seminars/ Evangelism and Free Medical Outreach we supported their congregation and the involvement of our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism team. The church presented me with a gift of clothe. and my wife with cooking utensils. They also request our support for the 2026 Bible Seminar/Evangelism in February.
October 12,
I preached the sermon from Matthew 7 at Church of Christ Ikot Odiong and a denominational church leader who benefited from our Free Medical Outreach (Ime Sunday) baptized into Christ, we are following up with his family to teach them about the new testament church, it’s my hope the baptism of Ime Sunday will help many of his followers and family to come to the knowledge of Christ.
* Thereafter, the church meet for planning on the 2026
* Bible Seminars/ Evangelism in Ikot Odiong on January 7-10 and it’s neighboring.
* Also, plan for the planting of new church in 2026 in a village that has none and in dare need of a church.
* Christian Couples Retreat on January 3 at Church of Christ, Ukanafun.
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Church of Christ Ikot Ant on February 5-7
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Church of Christ Ikot Akpa Idem on February 22-23.
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Church of Christ Ikot Akpan Eyo.
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Church of Christ Ikot Ibrahim.
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Two Towns Church of Christ Ikot Akpan Afaha
* Bible Seminar/ Evangelism at Three Towns Church of Christ Ata Essien Obio Akpa
October 17 – 29
I joined other preachers for the ACAC conference in Sierra Leone as reported earlier in my ACAC conference report were a total of nine (9) Souls obeyed the Gospel and 6 of them was through my contact and 2 of them were Muslims. It was a great opportunity to stay back for some days after the conference to evangelize the area which yielded fruits.
October 26:
A report from Mike Uko one of our preachers with our evangelism team report One baptism on Sunday 26 during their indoor Bible lecture at Church of Christ Ikot Ibrahim.
FAMILY LIFE:
My children Emem,Uduak and Ekemini were all home from school for a mid- term break, it was great to be with them on my return from ACAC conference in Sierra Leone. They will return to school this weekend.
My wife (Ekaette) plant vegetables, Cucumber and plantain, I assist her in the whenever I am home, she use the farm proceed to help our ministry of the Widow and Orphans.
