I’m glad to let you know that God brought me safely down to Sierra Leone after some months of work in Nigeria, my home country. The brethren here send greetings and are praying for you.
On Sunday, August 9, 2026, I had the privilege of preaching to the brethren at Cassel Farm in Freetown, Sierra Leone. I took the topic of my message from Heb. 9:27 with the topic, ” BEYOND THE PHYSICAL”. After the message, a call for baptism was made and two precious souls gave their lives to Christ through the water of baptism. The two young men, Ibrahim Koroma (Sierra Leone) and Chibuzo Collins (Nigeria) are very good friends.
Chibuzo’s family is in Sierra Leone for business. I met with the family last year when I went out to purchase a sport’s bicycle for one of our young preachers for evangelism. The mother got converted into the Lord’s church . Since then, I became a friend to the family, mainly because we are coming from the same country ( Nigeria). We had been studying the Bible with chibuzo and the friend . Fortunately, as God would have it, Chibuzo decided to be coming to church with Ibrahim and finally, the word of God pricked their hearts and they decided to accept chrrist. The church had wanted to postpone their baptism due to the heavy rainfall on that day, coupled with the fear that the ocean would be dangerous during heavy rains. I persuaded them using biblical examples of baptism and finally, the will of God prevailed. The two friends are now members in the body of Christ, the church and prayers are needed for the duo to continue serving Christ faithfully until He returns.
