The Bible Seminar /Evangelism at Church of Christ in Ikot Osute village between Friday – Saturday January 3-4, 2020 on the Theme “BEWARE” drawn from Colossians 2:8 was great.
The event has a total of 156 participants drawn from 34 local congregations of the Lord’s church and others from the denominational set.
The event features:
* Keynote Presentation
* Door to door Evangelism campaign around Ikot Osute village and its environ which a young man baptized into Christ.
* Open Air public preaching at Market place between 7pm – 10pm which two (2) souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ same night at the river.
* Indoor Bible Seminar at the meeting hall of the Ikot Osute church were two (2) souls (Bishops of two different denominational churches in the area) Obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
* A total of five (5) Souls baptized into Christ at Ikot Osute 2020 Bible Seminar /Evangelism and each of these baptized brother received a Bible /Hymnals..
The 5 baptized are:
1. Udo William – a bishop at Christ Fellowship Church
2. Ufot Willie Ubom – a bishop at Christ Faith Church of Nigeria.
3. Aniefiok Stephen Ufot
4 . Wisdom Ekon
5. Augustine Okon Mason the 4 and 5 baptize in the night during our preaching at market place
* Free Medical Test (BP, Sugar levels, HIV, Malaria/Typhoid etc), Free Drug administration on various ailments.
* Free feeding and accommodation etc.
* Gospel Tracts on various topics on the New Testament church was shared.
The Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team /NCCE students led the Evangelism campaigns.
Many denominational leaders attended and promised to visit our meeting to study more about the New Testament church.
