APRIL 2020 MISSION REPORT:

Amidst the covid-19 pandemic ravaging nations of the world, God has been faithful to our work for Christ and His kingdom, preserving me as well as my physical and Spiritual families from the dreaded corona virus pandemic. We lost two souls through death one at Ikot Odiong and Ikot Akpan Eyo, we pray for comfort on their families.

During the period, Two (2) Souls obeyed the gospel and was baptized into Christ one of them was at Ikot Osute, amidst the social distancing order occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, all rules was relaxed to enhance their immersion in the water grave of baptism. Both of them received a Holy Bible each to help their new found faith in Christ.

Though the lock down is still in force and thereby hindered some of our evangelism activities, we  give God the glory that we following the rules of association and the church is marching on.

Though non of us is infected by the covid-19 but the effect on the economic life of our members is tremendous mostly on those who live by daily income, peasant farmers and the aged widows. It is our hope that God in His infinite mercy will heal the world of this dreaded virus.

The Church at Ikot Odiong had prayed fervently mentioning you and yours in her prayers for God to protect and preserve you from this dreaded virus. The Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team also meet on Saturday April 4, 2020 for prayers and admonition to God still on this pandemic. It afford the evangelism team the opportunity to get from our work fund and as palliative (Rice, Garri-wheat and Noodles ) to cushion the effect of the covid 19 pandemic.

I sensitized the Preachers on safety measures on the covid 19 pandemic so they can sensitize the churches too.

Please give our love to our brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ, know that we pray regularly for you.

Thank you for always being there for us in Christ sake.

In Christian Love and Service,
Mojima Etokudo
