REPORT OF A BIBLE SEMINAR /EVANGELISM AT IKOT AKPA IDEM BETWEEN FRIDAY – SATURDAY JANUARY 22-23, 2021 ON THE THEME “THE MASTER’S BUSINESS” (LUKE 19:10)
The two days Bible Seminar /Evangelism at Church of Christ in Ikot Akpa Idem village was successful.
After a wide invitation to members of the community mostly non Christian, the following activities was OUTLINED and accomplished during the Gospel campaign.
* Food for the Needy Body and Soul, here Five (5) bags of Rice was shared to 50 Widows and Orphans, each of them went home with 5kg quantity of Rice and a token of funds to help as palliative.
* Free Medical services :
-151 people received free Eye Test, Drugs and Glasses.
-100 people received free Malaria drugs and free Blood pressure test.
-A total of 251 people benefited from our free Medical services at Ikot Akpa Idem.
* Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team led the Door to Door Evangelism.
* The indoor Bible Seminar has over 200 in attendance.
EFFECT:
* One Soul (Odudu Mfon Amos) Obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ, he and he and his wife worshipped on Sunday as reported by the Preacher there, pray his wife come to the knowledge of Christ.
* An erring brother was restored to faith.
* The village chief of Ikot Akpa Idem village was in attendance and we are following up with him, pray he come to the knowledge of Christ as we study the Bible with him.
* Beneficiaries of our benevolent and the Gospel we preached, promise to visit the church and learn more.
