Greetings to you and my brothers and sisters at the Shackle Island Church of Christ in Christ Jesus name, trust you and yours are doing well.
I and 29 others from our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team attended the Great Workshop 2023 at Port Harcourt where we work with Chad Wagner and other brethren. Below is the summary of the Great Workshop..
* The 2023 WBS Great Workshop in Nigeria ended in praise to the glory of God.
* Theme: “THE MANDATE OF THE MASTER”
* Date: July 26 – 29, 2023
* Venue: Church of Christ meeting hall, Rumuokwurusi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
* Attendance: 451 active participants across Nigeria and a missionary from the US Chad Wagner.
* Seven (7) solid lectures
* House to House Evangelism
* Open Air Evangelism at two different locations
* Fellowship
* Nine (9) precious Souls were won to Christ through water Baptism. Out of these 9 Souls, 5 of them was caught in the net by me and one Musa was a Moslem from Plateau State who works in Port Harcourt also baptized. Each of them was introduced to a Preacher whose church is closer to then. Each of the newly baptized received a copy Bible.
Thank you for your generosity which made it possible for 30 members of our Evangelism Team to attend The Great Workshop, your regular financial support to our team provided the transportation fair to and from the The Great Workshop which afford us the opportunity to preach the Gospel from door to door in Port Harcourt Rivers State and the mission payoff as five (5) out of the nine (9) Souls who obeyed the Gospel was our team effort. My wife”Ekaette” was in attendance too. We arrived home yesterday safely.
It was great meeting and working with both old and new friends for Christ and His Church.
This week between August 1-4, 2023 , i, our teammates and some brethren at Ikot Odiong will converge at the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) Ukpom Abak for her 69th annual Bible Lectureship where I am invited as one of the guest Preacher and for a Christian Service Award. Hopefully, I will work with Chad Wagner again there.
It’s been a very hectic weeks and I trust God for His Grace. Pray for me, my health, family, our Evangelism Team and the kingdom work ahead of us.
