The month of October 2023 in my ministry and our team of Evangelists (The Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team) was very very hectic and fruitful. We give God the glory.
Our October Evangelism campaigns and effect goes as follow:
1. Sunday October 1st:
I Preached the sermon on the One True Church, Three (3) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ. The newly baptized were visitors and Denominational church Pastor’s wife and children we preached to during our Bible Seminars in January and subsequent follow-up.
On Same Sunday October 1st:
Two (2) Souls were baptized at the following churches as reported by the Preachers:
*.One Baptism at Church of Christ, Ikot Anta
*. One Baptism at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Afaha
2. On Monday October 2nd:
We continue our Evangelism campaigns on the denominational church Pastor’s family whose wife and children baptized the previous day, he the pastor (Victor John) and his son both of them obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
3. On Wednesday October 4th:
Another denominational church Pastor who was a partner of Victor John received the Gospel from the newly baptized Victor and we followed up then he was baptized into Christ.
4. On Saturday October 7th:
I, my wife Ekaette and daughter ” Emem” embarked on family Evangelism, preaching to our prospects, Two (2) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
5. On Sunday October 8th:
Our Evangelist preaching at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Afaha village reports One (1) Baptism during his Sunday sermon.
6. On Tuesday October 10th,:
I joined the Church at Ikot Odiong for an invitational Evangelism at Ikot Odiong village and it’s environ in preparation for our indoor Bible Lecture, many responded to our preaching.
7. On Sunday October 15th, I preached at our indoor Bible Lecture were many visitors we preached to during our invitational Evangelism attended, Two (2) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
8. On Sunday October 22nd,:
After worship at Church of Christ, Ikot Odiong, I was confered with an award by Church of Christ Media Professional-Nigeria in recognition of my little effort in Evangelism and Church planting in the rural areas. Thank you the Shackle Island Church for your generosity which helps in achieving more for Christ and His Church. God bless you.
9. Between October 23-28th:
Our Ukanafun WBS Evangelism Team embark on a week Evangelism and Follow-up at Ikot Akpan Afaha village and it’s environ. Three (3) Souls obeyed the Gospel and baptized into Christ.
10. On Sunday October 29th:
I and my wife Ekaette worshipped at Church of Christ, Ikot Osute were I preached on the theme “SIN” and an erring brother was restored back to the faith.
11. On Thursday October 31st:
Another One (1) Soul obeyed the Gospel at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpan Afaha as reported by the Preacher following our week long Evangelism in the area.
12. All the newly baptized received Holy Bible from our stock, thank you for the provision to help then learn more about Christ and His Church.
13. SUMMARY:
A total of Twenty (20) Souls obeyed the Gospel in October 2023 through our ministry.
Nineteen (19) baptized into Christ while One (1) was restored from his erring ways. All these took place in Seven (7) different congregations of the Lord’s church as outlined above.
