I’m happy to let you know about a denominational church that has now become The church of Christ in Sierra Leone.
A month ago, I was introduced by a brother to one pastor Samuel Davies. He is an Accountant and a graduate of Airlangga University, Indonesia.
Samuel,after his graduation came back to his home country, Sierra Leone and combined his accounting profession with the founding and pastoring a denomination known as THE CHURCH OF GOD MOUNT MIRZA. He also runs an elementary and junior secondary schools registered as MOUNT MIZAR SCHOOLS. Inside the school campus he also runs his church with a membership of about two hundred members. I met him in one of his outings to gain more members for his church and we started studying the Bible together. After much studies that lasted for two hours on the first day, we continued to study online thereafter. When he still found it difficult to be convinced about the true church of the Bible, he decided to challenge me to an open forum with his other pastors.
After much prayers, I decided to accept the challenge and on Saturday, 26 September I went with brother Samuel Sesay, one of the youth that normally travels with me. After an eight hour intensive Bible studies and debates, to the glory of God, the former pastor Davies succumbed to the truth and was baptized. He has now surrendered all to Christ and we are now working on baptizing his former members of the defunct CHURCH OF GOD MOUNT MIZAR.
There is much more to be done for the Lord here and I therefore request for more of your prayers and support to help me do the needful for the growth of God’s kingdom.
