Dear brethren,
It’s good to let you know that we have started fixing the signs for the Waterloo church of Christ. We bought the cement, sand and stones and paid a mason to help do the work effectively. The people are so happy. I went with two other preachers from Freetown, Samuel Sesay and George Brown. Two of the signs have been fixed.
We couldn’t fix the sign on the highway for now since we have to get clearance from the City Council and that requires some more amount of money. That will be handled when the money is available.
Fixing the signs also gave me the opportunity to meet the Principal of Mount Mizar High School ,Mr. Alimamy Bangura who is also a pastor with another denominational church known as FAITH MINISTRIES. I discussed the bible with him and he accepted the truth. He is going to worship the church of Christ on Sunday!. He left his office to assist us in fixing the signs. The three man photo has Pastor Alimamy (left), myself (middle) and Samuel Davies (right).
I later headed for Taiama in Moyamba District to help strengthen the church that we restored few years back after they had gone denominational. Taiama is predominantly a Moslem community. I hope to fellowship with the brethren here on Sunday and spend two weeks with them in evangelim before returning to Freetown.
There is much here to do for the Lord and I really appreciate your prayers and support.
